The third year I participated to Junior Entrepreneur (an entrepreneurship competition for young entrepreneurs in Switzerland), it was in collaboration with the NGO earthworm which allows entrepreneurs to create scalable solutions for nature and people to thrive. They create, test and scale new ways of production and doing business. We had the opportunity through the contest to attend talks on agricultural development, sustainability and social entrepreneurship. We were challenged to design an advocacy project to promote sustainable agriculture and fair labour by setting up pop-ups and selling goods from Indonesian farmers. We had to create a mock up for the potential website and to secure potential partnerships for the pop ups in Switzerland which my team and I were able to do with the World Economic Forum, Novae, Green Gorilla Café, Llaollao.ch and Urban Kombucha.
